Golden Days

L’Outsider (France), born in Brittany, discovered graffiti at the age of 17. His early influences came from American pioneers like Futura2000 and Dondi White, but his work soon grew to incorporate diverse cultural elements gathered from his travels. From South African ethnic patterns to Japanese aesthetic traditions, including calligraphy and pop culture, L’Outsider’s creations blend spontaneity and intuition from urban graffiti with the sophistication of contemporary art. His pieces bridge the gap between the outside world of street art and the interior gallery space, constantly challenging the boundaries of space and time.

Moritz Green (Germany), also known as “Golden Green,” began his graffiti career at 12 in Hamburg. His work delves into the contrasts between humanity and the cosmos, blending geometric abstraction with organic forms. Deeply inspired by maps and cartography, his compositions reflect a contemplation of the underlying structures of existence, balancing nature and urban elements. Moritz Green’s works juxtapose rigid and fluid forms, using pastel tones alongside more vibrant colors to evoke dreamlike landscapes.
