Kolly Gallery is excited to present Ludovilk Myers in Geneva from 3rd December 2020 to 29th January 2021. Ilk’s visual repertoire merges from concrete organic shapes, to writing until abstraction. In his recent art works he focuses on colours, textures, organic shapes, and fantastic winter color palettes.

Myers’ visual repertoire is changing constantly from concrete organic shapes to writing. Sometimes image and lettering even superimpose or merge to one. Myers’ artistic practice has developed from a rather concrete reflection on everyday life to a more abstract cosmology. As an enthusiast of black metal music, Warhammer video games, horror movies, he surprisingly enough adores old Walt Disney cartoons of the 1930s, like Mickey Mouse’s Steamboat Willie or The Skeleton Dance. Through the abstraction of his daily interests and surroundings the artist creates compositions rich in structures and textures.

Myers’ symbolic language developed to graphic, geometric and abstract, yet surrealistic and sometimes psychedelic aesthetic.
