Following this colossal project, MadC ventured into thematic storytelling murals while also steering her artistic trajectory towards canvases and fine art exhibitions since 2009. In both mediums, there’s a noticeable shift from representational and narrative structures to more abstract paintings. The recent works, both on canvases and murals, exhibit a departure from traditional wildstyle-graffiti, presenting a nuanced approach. Rather than sticking to formal characteristics, MadC’s current strategy seems to capture the energy of traditional graffiti using vibrant colors, dynamic lines, arrows, and bars, forsaking distinct outlines for layered shapes. The result creates an illusion of transparent and liquid forms, marking a captivating evolution in her artistic expression.
In 2018 she broke her own record when she painted the 1000-Wall, a wall with an area of 1000m2, for the newly inaugurated apartment building The Paragon in Chicago. This mural is most likely the largest art piece created by a single artist. The artist is very well known for her distinctive murals all over the world, including Mexico, America, England, France, Sweden, Germany and Tahiti.
