Sickboy’s artworks are colorful, dynamic and rich in imagery. His artworks juxtapose abstract and figurative aspects that are arranged in a multi-dimensional universe. His style could be described as neo-surrealistic, cosmic and expressionist. Throughout his artistic path he has been inspired by Picasso, Hundertwasser and Gaudi as well as Spanish street artist La Mano.
For his first exhibition at Kolly Gallery he created a new series entitled Sanctuaries of landscapes, that combine his different signs and symbols. At the center of the attention is his iconic yellow and red-outlined symbol of the ‚Temple‘, indeed one of his most famous sanctuary. It is believed that Sickboy was indeed the first artist in the UK using a logo rather than the ‚Tag‘. Sickboy’s signature symbol, features a broken Temple that has been reassembled to form a heart shape. It represents the a tribute to that merry, mesmeric little house of worship which has become synonymous with his work and his message of hope, unity, and positivity.

The exhibition represents various art works and media surrounding the topic of the Temple.
The limited edition sculpture is released for the first time in cold cast bronze, a material that will likely outlast some of the Temples the artist has taken inspiration from. The bronze sculpture is accompa- nied by a series of limited edition prints full of his pictorial-logo punch and landscapes paintings. The artist describes them as cozy places he mixed with his imagery and messages. In this tumultuous era of rush, over-simulation and high paced business a space for relaxation and escapism is needed.
Sickboy’s work has been featured in galleries and exhibitions around the world. He is known for his large-scale murals, which often feature his iconic Temple logo and his uplifting messages of hope and unity.
