Guillaume ‘SUPAKITCH’ Grando and DAMIEN VIGNAUX

SupaKitch was born in 1978 in Bagnolet. Lives and works in Paris, Biarritz, Los Angeles and New York. 

Raised with manga and hip-hop culture, fascinated by the board culture, with drawing as a medium of choice since childhood, SupaKitch finds in the streets an abundance of media allowing him to flourish in his work. His first graffiti took place in 1990. Around 1994, graffiti takes a real place in his life, under the name « Ride ». 

Not being really aware of making a living with his art, he became artistic director in 1999, at age 21, for several advertising agencies. It was at this time that he met his future wife Koralie, architecture student and street artist. She takes him to her first show in the early 2000s, that’s when the name SupaKitch was born. Both sensitive to fashion, they founded the label Metroplastique with which they won the prize of the young fashion entrepreneur in 2005.
