The goal of the exhibition is representing Swiss quality in urban and graffiti arts as Kolly Gallery has been proving in Zurich since 2014. The show is a continuation of Swiss Cheese, which took place last year at the same time. Swiss Chocolate presents the best French and German urban graffiti artists. The exhibition aims to show emerging artists, who do not have regular shows in Paris.
The exhibition shows a variety of different media used by the artists. MOSES & TAPS™ are popular for their conceptual strength as well as a dash of scandal in their artistic projects. L’Outsider is one of the rare talents who still works out incredible pieces using only scripture. Zest synthesizes various influences in his pieces: abstract painting with figurative impulses, undeniable technical skills as well as wild-style graffiti roots. Lenz constructs his artistic worlds by matching one LEGO brick next to another, without loosing any of the graffiti character. The title of the exhibit seems to be precisely chosen. The realization of Swiss Chocolate is quite comparable to the production of Swiss chocolate itself. Kolly Gallery invested a long time to prepare and filter the right ingredients to make this an exclusive exhibition with outstanding taste. As well as Swiss chocolate the artworks are a delightful pleasure. The artists themselves bring along strong built and long lasting careers.
