Mist’s abstract paintings often inspired by the letters of his pseudonym, which is deconstructed in order to level up the traditional aesthetics of lettering. However Mist does not limit himself to abstract compositions. The figurations of his toy designs still shine through some of his paintings and sculptures, which makes them very intriguing. Sometimes the art works seem like just „another“ an abstract painting, but taking another perspective, there is suddenly a sketch of an Orus or Malus to recognize.
With a lot of authenticity Mist established the link as well as the balance between painting and the plastic universe. Recently, Mist exceeded the size of usual when he created two huge and spectacular murals in Montpellier (2014) and Rennes (2015).
Mist has a wide range of exhibition history, which started in France and spread globally. He participated at the Urban Art Biennial in Völklingen (DE) in 2013 and was part of the large scale exhibition ‚Language of the Wall. Graffiti/ Street Art.’ at the Pera Museum in Istanbul (TR) in 2014.
