Mist (b. 1972) dedicates himself completely to the sculpture and the painting in his studio in Montpellier where he lives today. Mist discovers graffiti along the railroads of the RER (Regional Express Rail) in the late 80s. Captivated by what he saw, he realizes his first graffiti in 1988. Standing out from his competitors 1991 he gets the chance to exhibit with Futura, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat at the Musée National des Monuments Français. In 1998 he develops his work of sculpture and realizes his first character in volume.
He is also recognized as pioneer of the so called „designer toys“ he designs vinyl toys such as Orus, Malus, Lucius and many more, which get sold allover the world. The specialists place him in the world top five artists’ side as Kaws and Futura. Today, Mist dedicates himself completely to the sculpture and to the painting in his studio in Montpellier where he lives today. The sharp, edgy and clear lines nevertheless remind of his wildstyle pieces in the streets of Paris.
